Several years ago when Designs Unlimited was started, we wanted a company that was more than the typical work place offering the same old employer and employee relationship. It has always been our goal to have everyone working at Designs Unlimited be owners in their company. We wanted a family of integrated members who are interdependent upon each other.

All members of our team at Designs Unlimited have complete knowledge of the entire financial picture of the company. There are no hidden or secret numbers. Everyone has complete knowledge of what they contribute to the company, as well as complete knowledge of what everyone else contributes to the company.

The sky is the limit on how much you can earn at Designs Unlimited since compensation is based entirely upon your productivity and not your time on the job or a popularity contest. We believe in promotion from within but we will never force anyone to advance into any position that does not meet his or her personal and professional goals.

Current Positions

Team Leader

A Team Leader is a person who has the ability to take a project from start to finish. They must be able to meet with the prospective client and gather the information necessary to design and sell a project. The Team Leader designs the projects, does base ups, permits, and delivers the project. The Team Leader must have the ability to manage a staff of CAD drafters and work with other drafters. A minimum of 10 years experience in single family residential as a Designer, Project Manager, or Production Manager is necessary to qualify for a Team Leader role. This is a salary position and a bonus plan. Pay is based upon experience.

CADD Drafter-Entry Level

We are looking for someone with at least one year of experience drafting single family residential plans using Autocad versions 2000 or higher. It is preferred that this experience was acquired in a production office and not from moonlighting on your own. Pay will be based upon your experience and qualifications.

CADD Drafter-Journeyman Level

See above. Additional requirements are that you have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience.

CADD Drafter-Mastery Level

See above. Additional requirements are that you have a minimum of 5 years or more of experience.
